A Teengirl’s Fantasy

Nick Weiss and Logan Takahashi are probably not every girl’s teenage fantasy but their musical abilities are certainly worth the attention.

The American born, Amsterdam-residing duo are pretty scarce in their public appearances – at least in the UK – but this year they are back on form with a new album in the pipeline, slated for late 2012 via R&S Records.

Teengirl Fantasy do a real good job of eschewing those darned pigeonholes we love to hate in electronic music, and so be it. For me, it’s just ruddy good music. You can check out a preview of their forthcoming LP Tracer in the player below, plus a full tracklist.
